These articles were categorized by authors, year, title, factors, types, modalities, barriers, relationship with the victim, instrument, country, language, sample and conclusions. The main results of the individual factors were partner abuse, low self-esteem and emotional dependence; family factors included domestic violence, low income and coming from a dysfunctional home; and cultural factors included gender roles, invisibilization of violence and stereotypes. In addition, psychological violence was identified as the most predominant type of abuse against men. |

La violencia es un fenómeno que repercute en la sociedad, en relación a sus víctimas se le asocia casi siempre a la mujer, sin embargo, los hombres también la padecen. Frente a esto, la investigación se propuso como objetivo realizar una revisión sistemática sobre los factores asociados en hombres víctimas de violencia en pareja. El total de artículos seleccionados fueron 45 artículos, recopiladas de bases como Researchgate, Redalyc, PubMed Central, SAGE Journals, ProQuest, Dialnet, EBSCO, Scielo, ScienceDirect, REDIB, Medigraphic e InfoMED. Cada uno de ellos fueron categorizados en apartados como factores asociados a la violencia contra el hombre, modalidades, barreras, el tipo de vínculo con la víctima, país, idioma, muestra y conclusiones. En base al análisis se pudo concluir el abuso en pareja, bajos niveles de autoestima y dependencia emocional, el haber sufrido de violencia intrafamiliar, pocos ingresos económicos, los roles asociados al género masculino, la invisibilización y los estereotipos son los factores que se encuentran con mayor prevalencia en los hombres que sufren violencia.
