According to their composition of major and minor elements and trace element, they are Sub-alcaline, from sodic, sodic transitional to potassic types, from metalumine to peraluminic; of tectonic environment of volcanic arc, and sincolisionales, the depth to the magma source was 20 to 30 Km.The study area presents a structural compartment limited by river Huascacocha faults and the river Huiro Huiro fault both with dextral type; This area presents strong cracking, shear zones, crackle - breccia, where the vein and veinlets of polidireccional quartz are trapped, with extensive hydrothermal alteration, quartz - sericite and propilitic alteration; mineralizations of hematite, goethite, limonite, pyrite, gold, in veinlets and in fine dissemination, with low sulphide content such as galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite and covelin. |

El prospecto El Cura esta comprendido por rocas dioritas cuarcíferas, tonalitas, granodioritas, granitos, diques andesíticos y diques aplíticos del batolito de Pataz. De acuerdo a su composición de elementos mayores y menores y trazas, son de carácter subalcalinas, de tipos sódico, sódico transicional a potásico, de carácter metalumínico a peralumínico; de ambiente tectónico de arco volcánico, y sincolisionales, la profundidad de formación de magmas fue de 20 a 30 km.El área de estudio presenta un compartimiento estructural limitada por las fallas del rio Huascacocha y la falla del rio Huiro Huiro de tipo dextrales; presentan áreas con fuertes craquelamientos, zonas de cizallamientos, crackle - brecha, en la que entrampan las vetas y vetillas de cuarzo polidireccionales, con alteración hidrotermal extensiva, cuarzo-sericita y propiliticas; mineralizaciones, de hematita, goethita, limonitas, pirita, oro, en venillas y en fina diseminación, con bajo contenido en sulfuros como galena, esfalerita, calcopirita, arsenopirita, pirrotita y covelina.
