This paper analyses these three elements in order to study the changes that have occurred in Menorca, and how they have come to determine the territory that we have nowadays Los territorios y los destinos turísticos han experimentado unos procesos de evolución y transformación de gran envergadura en las últimas décadas. Se han producido cambios morfológicos y estructurales de gran importancia que también han afectado a la isla de Menorca. El aumento de la actividad turística, junto con la aprobación del Plan Territorial Insular y el posterior contexto de crisis económica y el fin de la burbuja inmobiliaria, son los principales elementos que han condicionado la evolución de Menorca en las últimas décadas. En este trabajo se propone realizar un análisis de estos tres elementos para ver cuáles han sido las principales transformaciones que se han producido en Menorca, y cómo éstas han terminado por determinar el territorio actual Els territoris i les destinacions turístiques a les últimes dècades han patit uns processos evolutius i de transformació de gran envergadura. S’han produït canvis morfològics i estructurals de gran importància que també han afectat l’illa de Menorca. D’aquesta forma, l’augment de l’activitat turística, juntament amb l’aprovació del Pla Territorial Insular i el posterior context de la crisi econòmica i la fi de la bombolla immobiliària, són els principals elements que han condicionat l’evolució de Menorca a les últimes dècades. En aquest treball es proposa fer una anàlisi d’aquests tres elements per veure quines han estat les transformacions principals que s’han esdevingut a Menorca, i com aquestes han acabat determinant el territori actual Institut d'Estudis Catalans.
