We implemented the matrix of cause - effect of Leopold simplified for the identification, analysis and evaluation of environmental impacts; work with the array begins with the selection of the relationships between actions and environmental factors to be affected by placing two numbers separated by a diagonal in the appropriate box. The "magnitude" of the alteration of the corresponding environmental factor and the other one shows the "importance of the same". After elaborate arrays of identification and assessment of environmental impacts could be environmental impacts once known activities of the plant processing chicken slaughtered. En la ciudad y provincia de Loja de la Región Interandina de la República del Ecuador, funciona el Camal Avícola Pollos Win, el mismo que está ubicado en el sector noroccidental, Kilómetro 2 ½ vía a Catamayo del Barrio Belén de la parroquia Sucre; para quien se diseñó la presente Propuesta de Sistema de Gestión Ambiental (SGA) formulado en base a la Norma ISO 14001, la que surge para cubrir las necesidades de desarrollo económico y protección al medio ambiente; para ello, son tomados en cuenta los aportes conceptúales y metodológicos del desarrollo sustentable, ajustándolos a la misión de la Planta Procesadora De Pollo Faenado, “Camal Avícola Pollos Win. Se implementó la matriz de causa - efecto de Leopold simplificada para la identificación, análisis y evaluación de los impactos ambientales; el trabajo con la matriz empieza con la selección de las relaciones entre acciones y factores ambientales que se afectarán ubicando en la casilla correspondiente dos números separados por una diagonal. Uno indica la "magnitud" de la alteración del factor ambiental correspondiente y el otro la "importancia del mismo". Luego de elaborar las matrices de identificación y valoración de los impactos ambientales se pudo describir los impactos ambientales una vez conocidas las actividades de la Planta Procesadora de Pollo Faenado., “Camal Avícola Pollos Win; y conocidas y registradas las normas ambientales; se elaboró la ”Propuesta Del Sistema De Gestión Ambiental (Norma ISO 14001), que contempla la asignación de responsabilidades, equipos, y materiales necesarios para implementar los programas de: Prevención y mitigación de la contaminación del AIRE; Prevención y mitigación de la contaminación del AGUA; Prevención y mitigación de la contaminación por desechos sólidos no peligrosos y el Programa de Seguridad Laboral Salud ocupacional.
