For this purpose, the methodological apparatus is provided by the case study, according to Yin (2001), with the help of content analysis (BARDIN, 2002), establishing analytical categories and the discrimination of units of analysis. As results, we verified the predominance of fractions of truth and antagonisms, with regard to post-truth and populist rhetoric, and the use of documentary sources, more specifically journalistic, in measuring of the narratives. So, we conclude that fact-checking can improve your measurement strategies in the face of fallacious information, which takes effect in populist rhetoric and explores the post-truth context. |

El objetivo de este artículo es identificar los elementos de la post- verdad y populismo y las fuentes seleccionadas para comprobar la información clasificada como falsa por la agencia Aos Fatos sobre el intento de golpe de Estado ocurrido en Brasil el 8 de enero de 2023. Para ello, el aparato el enfoque metodológico lo otorga el estudio de caso, según Yin (2001), con la ayuda del análisis de contenido (BARDIN, 2002), estableciendo categorías analítica y discriminación de unidades de análisis. Como resultado, combrobamos el predominio de fracciones de verdad y antagonismos, en los que se refiere a la posverdad y la retórica populista, y al uso de fuentes documentales, más específicamente periodístico, al calibrar las narrativas, haciéndonos concluir que, en el contexto actual de desinformación, esta puede no ser la forma más indicado en el esclarecimiento de información falaz. O objetivo deste artigo é identificar os elementos de pós-verdade e populismo e as fontes selecionadas na checagem das informações classificadas como falsas pela agência Aos Fatos sobre a tentativa de golpe de Estado que ocorreu no Brasil em 8 de janeiro de 2023. Para tanto, o aparato metodológico é concedido pelo estudo de caso, conforme Yin (2001), com o auxílio da análise de conteúdo (BARDIN, 2002), estabelecendo categorias analíticas e a discriminação de unidades de análise. Como resultados, verificamos a predominância de frações de verdade e de antagonismos e uso de fontes documentais, mais especificamente jornalísticas, na aferição das narrativas falsas. Assim, concluímos que o fact-checking pode aprimorar suas estratégias de aferição diante de informações falaciosas, que se efetivam na retórica populista e exploram o contexto de pós-verdade.
