| description | Neoliberalism is a space of production of subjectivity whose axis is the notion of human capital. Considering that, for the neoliberal discourse, the construction of this human capital must begin in early childhood, we show that, in this context, education is understood as an investment destined to hierarchize and value this capital. Starting from the works of Dardot and Laval, we propose to study the effective impact that this neoliberal way of understanding education has in the school environment, underlining its link with the proliferation of psychiatric diagnoses in childhood. Finally, we analyze how this process of psychiatrisation of psychic suffering, and of erasing social factors and conflicts, impacts on the mental health of children when they fail in the educational process. |

El neoliberalismo es un espacio de producción de subjetividad cuyo eje es la noción de capital humano. Considerando que, para el discurso neoliberal, la construcción de este capital humano debe comenzar en la primera infancia, mostramos que, en este contexto, la educación se entiende como una inversión encaminada a jerarquizar y valorar este capital. A partir del trabajo de Dardot y Laval, nos proponemos estudiar el impacto efectivo que tiene esta forma neoliberal de entender la educación en el contexto escolar, subrayando su vínculo con la proliferación de diagnósticos psiquiátricos en la infancia. Finalmente, analizamos cómo este proceso de psiquiatrizar el sufrimiento psicológico, y borrar los factores y conflictos sociales, impacta en la salud mental de los niños cuando fracasan en el proceso educativo. O neoliberalismo é um espaço de produção de subjetividade cujo eixo é a noção de capital humano. Considerando-se que, para o discurso neoliberal, a construção desse capital humano deve ter início na primeira infância, mostramos que, nesse contexto, a educação é entendida como um investimento destinado a hierarquizar e valorizar esse capital. Partindo dos trabalhos de Dardot e Laval, propomos estudar o impacto efetivo que esse modo neoliberal de entender educação tem no âmbito escolar, sublinhando seu vínculo com a proliferação de diagnósticos psiquiátricos na infância. Finalmente, analisamos de que modo esse processo de psiquiatrização dos sofrimentos psíquicos, e de apagamento de fatores e conflitos sociais, impacta na saúde mental das crianças quando elas fracassam no processo educativo.
