| Sumario: | Mangabeira has been standing out internationally for having edible and delicious fruit. The faced difficulties in the propagation process of the species by seeds, mainly due to low rate of germination and recalcitrance, and insufficient feedback to regeneration by cutting, valorize the search for alternative solutions in the seedling production. Techniques of in vitro cultivation are efficient. However, using these techniques in a wide way for the species has been limited due to the difficulty of rooting, high rate of leaf abscission and reduced index of survival plants during the phase of acclimatization. Among the factors that control morphogenesis in the tissue culture are the cytokinins. This work evaluated the effect of absence and presence of three sources of cytokinins (6- benzylaminopurine - BAP, kinetin - CIN and thidiazuron - TDZ) in the multiplication, in the anatomical aspects and ultrastructural of leaves and in the leaf senescence delaying during in vitro cultivation of shoot explants of mangabeira. Among the sources of tested cytokinins, BAP induced higher rate of multiplication, higher increase in thickness of palisade and spongy parenchymas, bigger flooding functionality and leaf senescence delaying. Shoots of mangabeira from culture media without addition of cytokinins showed more facility of in vitro rooting. Of the tested cytokinins, the kinetin was the one that provided the most developed formation of chloroplasts. |
