| Resumo: | This article is a thematic part of my master's thesis entitled Cartographies of transmuseality: museological processes in LGBT shelters in Brazil, defended in 2021 by the Federal University of Bahia, in the Postgraduate Program in Museology and aims to present a cartography of LGBT Homes in Brazil, highlighting their provisional configurations and seeking to identify the existence of museological processes in these spaces. In order to do so, I briefly contextualize the changes that have occurred over time in Brazilian public policies aimed at the cultural sector, at the federal level, the institutionalization of Social Museology in the strengthening and promotion of cultural diversity and the claims for the right to memory of the LGBT Community in the field of Brazilian museology with the creation of the LGBT Network of Memory and Social Museology. |
